Since the New Year, we have been doing hands on activities.  We have found that works the best for the large group we have.  It keeps their little minds going and keeps them busy.  We have added to our normal routine.  We still start out with snack and read from our Devotion books, followed by our craft.  Then, Pastor Chris joins us and ties everything together with a lecture on Jesus.  To end our day, they have music/singing and a prayer.  So far this month we have made book marks, and our “everybody is different, yet all the same” wheels.  It explains how everyone that is a part of your life, whether it’s a friend/family member or someone you meet in passing, is the same in many ways but different too.
