Our annual fishing with dads are April 30 and May 1^st @ 9 a.m. at the city park.  Then it’s mom’s turn, we will fix lunch for them on the 7^th and 8^th at 11:00 a.m.  Graduation and spring program will be May 12^th at 7 p.m. and we will finish up the year with field days at the park on May 14-15.  Everyone is welcome to come!  No school May 9^th and our last day of school is May 15.

We also have some May birthdays, Dawson will be 5 on the 3^rd and Hannah will be 5 on the 13^th.  Our helper Laverne has a birthday on May 8^th.

May themes are Rhyming words, the letter Z and summer safety.  We will also finish up letters w-z.

Another year of school has come and gone, this one is extra sad for me, as this will be my last year of teaching at Grace.  My family and I are planning to move to Fremont.  It is very hard to think about leaving a job and church that I love, but we are excited for the challenge of new things too.  Thank you so much for supporting Grace Lutheran Preschool.  I have some very special memories to take with me.

This fall, Grace Lutheran Preschool will begin its 21^st year as a faith based state licensed school.  We will be having classes for both the Mon-Wed-Friday 4/5 year old sessions and the Tue-Thur 3 year old classes. Tell your friends and neighbors to register their preschoolers now.  Our faith based curriculum and small class size is what we have built our outstanding reputation on and we will continue in that tradition into the next decade. Handbooks and registration forms are available from the church office. 

            Grace Lutheran Preschool is seeking applications for a teacher for the 2008-2009 school year.  Jane McElroy has offered her resignation as of the end of May.  We wish Jane and her family all the best for their future plans.
