Youth Programs
Notes from the Christian Education Committee Chi Rho: Last day of Chi Rho Kids for this school year is April 29th. We are in need of three more adult volunteers for next year.
Sunday School: We need two teachers for next year. One to teach 5th & 6th grades and one to teach 1st and 2nd grades.
Confirmation: 7th and 8th graders - 3 field trips. 1. April 6 to Sioux City, Trinity Heights and worship at Morningside Assembly of God 2. April 20 to Fremont, First Lutheran Church 3. May 4 to Lincoln, Lutheran Student Center for worship and tour the UNL campus
VBS: July 21 – 25 – Volunteers needed.
Day Camp: For 1-6th Graders - June 23-27, 9:00- 3:30 p.m. Host homes needed yet for counselors coming from Camp Carol Joy Holling.
Preschool: April 30 & May 1 - Fish Day with Dads May 7-8 - Mother’s Luncheon May 12 - 7:00 p.m. Spring Program – all welcome May 15 – last day of school May 18th – 9 a.m. Worship Honor teacher Jane McElroy
Summer Family Outings: June 14 – Rose Theatre – Wizard of Oz July 18 – Columbus Water Park Aug. 24 – Sunday School families to Henry Doorly Zoo for a kickoff outing after church
Senior League: July 19-26 - Trip planned to go Rafting on the Arkansas River in Colorado and to do 2-3 days of Mission work in the Denver area
